4. Hi! I’m 48 years old and have never played any game made by Fromsoft….. or many games at all really. First one I played was Zelda BOTW, then I discovered Horizon. I loved the look of Elden Ring and downloaded it early. Then was very quickly overwhelmed-not knowing anything makes it hard in a game that tells you basically nothing.
   I’ve found your videos crucial to my learning such a game and now that I have got myself a few fancy weapons I’m able to enjoy it. And i am very much enjoying it.
   A bonus of watching your videos has been your voice. You’ve got a brilliant voice over tone. And you make any talk sound relaxing, when the actual game play is anything but. So thanks! You’ve helped an older noob get into this genre of game.

   This game is huge. Idk how anyone is completing this game under 100hrs.

   I'm 100hrs in and I'm barely 50% through the second zone, Liurnia. And mind you, its not time spent being inexperienced. I have solo'd all the previous games in the series.

11. Oh it's so nice how you said it's okay to reuse animations when the quality is showing in the actual game!! Like ahhhh! Of course it'd be nice for stuff like that to be unique between games etc. but it's like this shit is expensive and time is money!!

18. I dont get this bs about the "recycled anims". Im sure that if they were ALL changed the same ppl would be whining about it not beeing "cliché/nostalgic/traditional " enough to the fan base, so a lot of mods would do that instead….

19. I do like that While bosses arn't easier than in previous Souls games.

    If you hit a Wall with them, you can go back and explore other places to find gear/spells and level up and thus Prepare better for the Fight, contrary to some boses in the Souls games, where most of the time, you HAD to beat the boss to be able to find new places and stuff

    I think that rather than simply learning the patterns till you dream of it, the most essential thing will be exploration and preparation.

    And thats where the Open world structure and crafting will shine imo

30. Just to further echo what many have said, this really does seem like a collection of what fromsoft have learned over the last 6 games or so with new ideas on top of that, and I can't wait 😩

31. Imagine if Resistance was tied to Endurance. And it meant less stamina consumption by percentage, meaning that for each consecutive hit the reduction effect would wear down

37. It would be hilarious if Fromsoft pulls the rug from under everyone and it turns out this whole area was made for the test and doesn't actually exist in the game.

47. Kind of sad there's only 2 "ring" slots but I'm sure everything else in the game will make up for it
