In this video I wanted to share my own experience of developing my very first game for iOS and Android, and also tell about my budgets and my revenues. I hope it will help to get some ideas about mobile game development. As an example I use my game – Ailment.
Ailment – Android/iOS pixel-art style mobile game. The game available on:
GooglePlay: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.BeardyBird.Ailment
AppStore: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1463030573
Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1167530/Ailment/

"In game development, half of the time is spent on making 90% of the game, and the other half on the other 90%" Pure wisdom
Blessings, John 3:16 (NIV). Jesus loves you.

Once you've released the game and made $100K, can you cancel your Unity Pro subscription later on if you stop using it? (Unity requires you to buy a $400/month subscription if you reach $100K, right?)

Since I'm a full-time gameplay programmer at a larger studio, I thought I'd weigh in on what a bigger studio pays out.
I get paid about £24,000 (~$33,000 USD) per year before tax, and then an annual bonus which can bring that up quite a bit. There's also a salary review each year to bring the salary up to market rates. Then when games are released we're paid a product performance bonus depending on how well received the game is.
The salary bump is quite large once you go up to an experienced programmer level, and then even larger once you go to lead/senior programmer.
wow what a dream!

what software you are using?
Almost a year later coming back to this video I hate that I watched it. It gave me a false idea about how my game could be this successful and i was obviously disappointed. It's very unlikely any of your first games will be even close to this success simply don't expect this to happen even after years of game dev
