That things will change is a safe bet. KOTOR combat aged horribly and most videogame RPGs have largely abandoned the parts of social tabletop games that just don't translate well to singleplayer experiences. BioWare had to really transliterate the Wizards of the Coast d20 system KOTOR is based on for it to work and CRPGs have improved so much since.
I prefer turn based like the original.
I hope some of the story is different and it's canon lol
Honesty love kotor the gameplay itself wasn't awesome to me it was okay I thought the gameplay could've been more dynamic they definitly have an opportunity now
I bet the gameplay is going to be as generic as fallen order, in KOTOR 1 you could learn over 20 different force abilities and skills, light side and dark side, they better include all 7 lightsaber forms and not just some repetitive baseball swinging.
