2. Really no forbidden curses when you can choose to be evil just lame so lame

3. Leaks are total BS. Game clearly hints at you being able to choose a dark path. Vast majority of the points are completely wrong including the timeline.

I don’t mind having a linear storyline progression per se, but I’m hoping this incorporates some basic free roam stuff and space to role play doing mundane things like designing our own private areas, hanging out in The Great Hall or Three Broomsticks, or someone else’s office/house/whatever, an explore just for the fun of it, etc. and not be locked into only progressing through gameplay. I get bored with Witcher and AC for that very reason (and the incessant mandatory repetitive fighting). Would be really cool as an mmorpg like Skyrim but that may be too much to ask for.

14. I’m just hoping they don’t pull a cyberpunk with the character classes. The lore of this universe is rich enough that they should be able to incorporate noticeably different stories based on your character’s background.

16. I'm late to the party, but to comment on a potential nemesis feature, in Shadow of Mordor, the main villain was not the nemesis. When playing the game, there were randomly generated orcs who were your nemesis, each with a new name and personality, so if they're doing the same for Hogwarts, then the nemesis will most likely be followers of the main antagonist, not the BBEG themselves.

17. I'm just hoping for a Shadow of Mordor Harry Potter game because I loved the Shadow Of Mordor games

18. The ability to visit hogsmeade would be cool and also the school grounds because this is something that was in the books. I can the visit London and have secret side quests and interactions that's sound like a game to me. Also I get why people are hyping the game to be able to sneak out at night but I think just being in hogwarts and having the school to roam around is enough for me, I'm not fussed

20. I certainly don't mind devs delaying their game. In fact, delay it as many times as you want. Otherwise, you'll get a cyberpunk scenario

23. The antagonist and nemesis are 2 different people. The antagonist is the main bad guy, the nemesis is your hogwarts rival, a randomized draco malfoy, something i reallt hope actually is in the game. The fact that it says you can ally your nemesis but that you cannot join the main bad guy should have made it obvious that nemesis and antagonist are 2 different people

24. The main rival is different then the main antagonist! Different things so I hope it keeps that

30. Definitely should have the unforgivable curses. Just make the fighting super difficult with the CPU being able to cast protego and what not.

40. Kinda sad that we wont be able to take a darker path in a role playing game, i was all for becoming the next Voldy😂. Also i think the random rival creator is a horrible idea. We need a rival with a set appearance, personality etc.

42. Aside from the story or the game mechanics the thing I care about the most is how interactive and immersive Hogwarts will be. Will it be like Bully where there's a daily schedule in which can attend (or not) classes throughout the day? Things like that are what I look for in a Harry Potter RPG

44. I hope the characters look more .. .. .lifelike. . .. than they did in the reveal trailer. As for the romance option…..imagine being able to use the imperious curse to influent that. or even better, being able to use it on teachers for grades or more…. perverse….. intentions. this game could be so fun but. . . . .unfortunately most people have "morals"

46. Bold to assume the game will be canon, as I'm 99% sure it's not going to be, as most other video game spin-offs have never been canon.

    As per most video game spin-offs, they tend to be non-canon until current canon work canonizes something from the game.

    Look at games like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, loved by fans but generally unwanted as canon – no single nod from any other main works that canonizes it either.
    Or Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor/War, also loved by fans but definitely unwanted as canon – makes decisions in latter game to completely cement itself as non-canon.
    Or LOTR Conquest, which had adapted canon but also gave an alternate ending if you choose to further play the campaign from the evil POV.
    And to show other franchises, how about the Vampire the Masquerade games? They literally can't be canon due to multiple endings and alternate paths, though they have pre-defined lore and canon within its universe.

    Or MMO's like Star Wars Galaxies – which makes use of canon characters but gave the players an absolutely non-canon game due to being sandbox format. Or Star Wars: The Old Republic – due to existing generally within "Expanded Universe" which was declared non-canon when Disney took over but parts of it is slowly reintegrated into canon, often altered.

    Truth be told, I barely know of any games which are video game adaptations that are canon. Most of them are only canon due to being their own universe's epicenter, like World of Warcraft.
