  1. Recently replayed Dark Souls III for Elden Ring hype. Got to this boss and had completely forgotten how sad it was. They, one of the greatest military forces of that era, are just killing each other… over and over again…

  2. I’m new to the whole Soulsborne franchise. But the boss I’ve always known, even before i bought the game, were the abyss watchers. I’ve just got to them in the game, and needless to say I die a lot, but they’re just so cool it’s so hard for me to get mad at them when I die

I always thought it was dumb the way you could hear lots of swords clanging together, but when you actually look into the room, there's nobody in there and these two only appear when the cutscene starts. There's other instances like that in the Souls games (most notably the total lack of lip-syncing, haha), one of the very, VERY few flaws in the series.

  10. i love the concept of abyss watcher. They were once all brothers, but a lot of them get corrupted by abyss. And still, they fight it with all they have left, and now that i think about it, the Abyss Watcher boss, who i assume is their commander, give you his respect towards you, what shows that he is sane and not corrupt, but still fights you in order to defend the entrance to the catacumbs, where abyss begin.

    What means he still is on his duty, even while he fight you and because of that, after your fight against him let you know that you killed the only boss in Dark Souls 3 with good intentions and hearth

  12. Everything in this boss fight is perfect but its actually not that hard idk why some people think this boss is that hard i am not even that good at combat in this game

  15. just beat old demon king, so far this boss fight is my favorite. their designs, their moveset, the fact one fights with you, the second phase, the music, just everything bro. its perfect. i also didn't struggle too hard on this boss so lol

  19. The abyss watchers is my favorite fight in the 2 soulsborne games I have played, the boss respects your intelligence and skills as if it’s a person. Took me 2 tries but I loved every part of the battle when fighting them.

  21. The Abyss Watchers were playing some pretty intense game of Among Us until the Ashen One comes in and ruin the fun just for some fire linking ritual or something……
    Kinda gives me Conniptions….

  25. 4 am, im in my bed, watching this video after getting absolutely destroyed by the abyss watcher for 4 hour, i was 1 hit away of killing him, i was greedy and go for that last hit without stamina…dead 1 more time…maybe the number 100 or more of the night, turn off the pc, i will try to rest tonight, is gonna be difficult, maybe wen i woke up is gonna be different. Maybe i can beat him.
